Senior Sales Manager

Position: Manager, Inside Sales

Webgility is looking to add a talented and highly motivated Inside Sales Manager to our San Francisco, CA based team! This is an incredible opportunity for someone who loves to close new business and develop Account Executives to overachieve monthly quotas.

In this role, you will be fundamental in mentoring and growing our team of Business Advisors who are focused on driving revenue in the SMB market. You will also play an integral part in setting the longer-term sales and market strategies, setting quotas, sales forecasting and partner enablement.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Team Development

  • Interview, hire, develop, motivate, and coach/lead a savvy Inside Sales team to consistent daily metrics, performance, and quota achievement
  • Identify future goals and enable team members’ professional development
  • Firm understanding of what motivates team and individual perspectives
  • Develop and conduct weekly team meetings and 1:1’s to influence results
  • Get into the weeds... listen in on calls, review pipeline at the deal level and provide appropriate constructive feedback guiding team members towards achieving key metrics – coaching is 51% of the role
  • Facilitating new processes, tools, communications, training, and methodologies
  • Be a leading influencer of current and future team culture
  • Oversee full sales cycle process from Outbounding -> Inbound Qualification -> Demonstration -> Closed Won
  • Champion of Salesforce - Activity tracking, Pipeline Management, Results tracking, Forecasting outcomes, and Usage / Accuracy per Sales Playbook

Cross-Functional Player

  • Operate within a collaborative environment with highly motivated teammates and interact with many other parts of the business
  • Collaborating with other sales leaders and team members within the organization to ensure consistent best practices, messaging, product knowledge, and sales tactics are utilized
  • Work with Marketing and Support Staff to ensure efficient prospect/customer information exchange and hand-off
  • Work with all departments to ensure systems can capture needed data to inform business of market information
  • Provide thoughtful feedback to internal marketing, product and engineering teams to drive product innovation
  • Work with Recruiting and HR to hire a team of talented Account Executives

The Big Picture

  • Report directly to the  Vice President of Sales
  • Manage reporting to sales leadership on a weekly basis, with ad-hoc reporting as needed
  • Working closely with our Executive team to make recommendations on how we can improve sales performance
  • Identifying new areas of opportunity with new and existing clients
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment and be comfortable being accountable for decision making
  • Prepare and execute on monthly, quarterly and annual sales objectives

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • 1+ years of experience in an Inside Sales role (SaaS strongly preferred)
  • 2+ years of experience leading an Inside Sales team of 5+ members
  • Thrives in a quick sales cycle environment and has experience working with a monthly quota
  • Proven track record at establishing and achieving challenging measurable goals in a highly automated Inside Sales environment
  • Numbers driven, action and detail oriented, and possesses the energy, enthusiasm, and competitiveness that drives the team to success in a fast-paced environment
  • Superb time management, judgment, decision-making, and problem solving skills
  • Experience in a fast-paced, high energy, high activity growing environment
  • Enjoys selling into SMB's
  • Demonstrated success in closing ≤ $25K (ARR) deals
  • Able to communicate and work with a range of different people at different levels of the business including Executive team
  • Knowledge of e-commerce industry would give you an advantage. Ever worked with or had an online store?
  • Occasional travel, as well as the ability to represent our company at events
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Eligible to work in the USA
  • Ability to work on-site in San Francisco, CA
  • Sense of humor and regular flossing is a plus
