Content Marketing Manager

Webgility’s legendary marketing department is looking for a good natured content cohort to support our initiatives. Things are getting real, and by real, we mean awesome, so it’s an ideal time to join the team. Applicants should be comfortable in a hands-on, collaborative, fast, and flexible environment and have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while driving toward aggressive—but totally doable—deadlines. Busy bees welcome, lazy Susan’s need not apply.  

Under the supervision of the brilliant yet quirky director of content and communications, you will own our short-form ground game: content production for marketing programs geared toward specific personas, varying tech stacks, and niche retail markets. You will work closely with our product, sales, and customer success teams to conceptualize and write content for these specific groups.

Write what? Email campaigns, landing pages, social media posts, banner ads, website content, webinar content, infographics, blog posts, etc. You’ll develop and execute fun, measurable demand generation programs that drive traffic and leads to our direct sales team. You’ll also collaborate with the rest of the marketing team on bigger-picture programs and promotions that will rock the world.

  • have 5+ years writing and editing marketing content or editorial
  • have a bachelor’s degree in marketing or equivalent experience
  • enjoy a mild obsession with style consistency
  • don’t take yourself too seriously

  • are able to think strategically and execute tactically
  • find it creatively engaging to adjust voice and tone for different audiences

  • know how to ask questions and then listen to the answers
  • have a proven track record partnering with cross-functional teams
  • work from both sides of the brain
  • understand SEO, basic website design, and conversion
  • have experience with social media channels
  • can use Adobe Creative Suite (Acrobat, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.)
  • are a team player—for realsies
  • have a life outside of work
  • are eligible to work in the US
